Humans are creatures of comfort. We love everything to be warm, cozy, and most importantly, comfortable. And we do crazier things every day to obtain comfort. New products come out all the time that simply amaze me. Products such as the Snuggie just make me laugh, while furry flip flops make me wonder how far we will go to be comfortable. The idea of furry flip flops is rather strange concept, but it doesn’t surprise me that it was America that first came up with the idea. I first saw them about 5 years back, and I think they’re catching on.
Perfect for Around the House
Though you might be laughed at for wearing furry flip flops in public, they are perfect for around the house. A lot of people like to wear slippers or other indoor shoes while they’re inside. But during the summer and early fall, it’s probably going to be too hot to wear slippers inside. Flip flops are ideal because they allow your feet to be cool, while providing ultimate comfort. Furry flip flops offer a bit more warmth to your feet than the typical rubber/plastic thongs, but still allow your feet to stay cool during the summer.
An Affordable Luxury
Most things that people splurge on tend to be fairly expensive. But they don’t have to be. Some creature comforts are much more affordable than you might think. A nice pair of fuzzy flip flops will run you anywhere from $20 to $70+, depending on where you buy them and how nice they are. Even at the relatively pricey cost of $70, you can still justify your purchase because they should last you a while. If you’re financially strapped like so many other Americans, then you might want to go for one of the cheaper models. I know that $20 isn’t cheap today either, but look at it this way: you could either spend money on single-use comforts such as movies, or you could buy something that’s going to make you happy for quite a while. A decent pair of furry flip flops should last you at least a year or two, possible much longer. If you only use them in the winter and cold times of the spring and fall, you might be able to make a single pair last for 5-10 years or more.

Surprisingly enough, there are quite a few places that you can get furry flip flops, and quite a few companies that make them. Currently, the Internet is the best place to find them. They are not extremely popular yet, so you might find it hard to find a pair at a local clothing or shoes store. I would just go directly to the Internet to buy your shoes, whether you want furry flip flops or just a normal pair. The Internet can usually offer the best prices, as well as the best selection, for almost any product.
